Wow, has it been a long time since I blogged myself….
So much has happened; let me see where the best place to start is. Well last month we found out our jobs would all be moving to TX. Not really the news we were hopping for, but I am grateful for the time they gave us to look for another job. I will be employed with First American until January 15th... So it gets me through the holidays. I have made the decision that I am staying with the company until January, I really want to finish what I started. (Not that this is easy but I need to do it)
Lets see next on our list… the kiddo’s!
We had school pictures taken… let’s just say Taylor’s pics ended with a phone call to me at work from the studio. All in all I love the pictures, no matter what they are still my babies. Its just very hard to believe how much they have grown! The one that surprises me the very most is Taylor. She has 2 best friends… Lila L. and Mackenzie S., she has a hard time make a decision with out one of these girls. The best part is the girls’ moms and I are VERY good friends. Lila and Taylor are 5th generation girls to go to school together…. Lila’s great great grandma and Taylor’s great great grandma were friends in school and throughout the years there has always been 1 Jacobs girls and 1 Hulme girl as friends….. I love that Tami and I were able to be apart of the “tradition” and to see these two girls together is wonderful. Taylor and Lila have been together since they were 6weeks old… (Lila’s grandma watches the girls at her Daycare) so I am sure they will be friends for the long hall. Mackenzie’s mom and I use to work together at FAFS… the girls are months apart and they hit it off from the word go witch is wonderful for Nicole and I.
Braden and I are coming up on our 8 year anniversary… WOW.. Eight years.. it doesn’t seem possible. I really am the luckiest girl in the world!! I think we are taking the day to go look at new campers… he is hoping to switch shifts next year and have his weekends opened. I would love that! The kids are getting big enough to really enjoy and help out when we go camping. So good-bye pop-up … Hello travel trailer.
Our last news is sad news…. Saturday we will lose our very dear friend Caesar. Our 9 year old English bull dog has been failing for the past year, and has had trouble moving around. Braden and I made the very tuff decision to send him to a better place. Although I know this is the right thing to do… I will miss our “first boy”. He has been with us through a move, the loss of another dog, the birth of two children and the excitement of job changes. No matter what our days were like, or how our moods were, he was always and will always be with us. I have to believe this! It will be weird to go to bed Saturday night and not give him a hug good night. Like I said he is one of my boys… he got in on the loving too. The most difficult part of this all will be Lane. This is HIS dog... No questions asked. They have been buddies since the day we both came home from the hospital. I don’t think they have left each other side unless I forced them to. “Tank” sleeps outside Lane’s room… or outside where ever lane is sleeping. We bring him camping because lord knows he is part of the family and needs to be on vacation with us as well. So please say a little prayer for my 5 year old… as he will be lost this weekend, and say a prayer the “puppy heaven” is the best place ever! (with LOTS of milk bones) =) We will miss you Tank……..
